William

William “Bill” Taylor was born October 28, 1927 and departed this life Wednesday, February 27, 2013 reaching the age of 85. He was the son of the late Roscoe C. “R.C.” and Ruby (Hines) Taylor.

He was united in marriage to Mary Chesney and to this union 2 children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Mary Taylor of Monticello, KY; 1 son, Charles Taylor of Tifton, GA; 1 daughter, Martha Nash of Paris, KY; and 4 grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, R. C. and Ruby Taylor, he was preceded in death by: 2 brothers, Jack and Frank Taylor; and 3 sisters, Mildred Tuttle, Jane Edwards, and Joan Bertram.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 1st from 5 – 9 pm and Saturday, March 2nd from 7 am – 9:30 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 10:30 am at the United Methodist Church of Monticello with Bro. Seth Denney and Bro. Joe Tipton officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
